The Air Jordan XXXI was released in 2007. Its upper had an asymmetrical collar that blended support and mobility. It also had articulated padding in the ankle collar to add to its premium look. It also had metal tips on its laces for a high-tech feel.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan XIV was an athletic, race ready sneaker. It features a low-profile, breathable air ducts on the outer sole. The shoe also comes with a Jordan Jumpman insignia on a Ferrari-shaped badge. The shoe is a tribute to MJ’s aggressive on-court attitude.
It also features a unique toe box and a padded tongue. This shoe was co-designed by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. It was originally intended for wearing with a suit. The shoe also features a unique lacing eyelet system.
